| F.A.Q.'s Q. What is Operation Sequential Art?
A. It's a charitable program we started at "A Comic Shop" to send comics to the Troops serving in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Q. When did it start?
A. We started it in 2007 when we began shipping our overstock of back issues to the troops. The program didn't have a name at the time, it was just something we wanted to do. Over time, we gave it a name, created graphics for it, and got other comic shops around the country to join us in the cause.
Q. Why send comics?
A. Comics are awesome! They're light-weight, can be folded, never require batteries, and the stories are short enough for tiny bursts of entertainment.
Q. This sounds awesome, how can I help?
A. We have plenty of comics to send right now, but we need help with the shipping costs. Each box cost about $13 - $20 to ship. We have about 50 boxes of comics packed up and ready to go, but with the economy the way it is, we just can't afford to ship them all by ourselves.
Q. How do you pick which Military Members you send comics to?
A. We use http://anysoldier.com/ and look for the Troops that request entertainment items.
Note: If you don't want to donate to this cause, please consider putting together a Care Package of your own to mail to the Troops in time for Christmas.
